The 821 Monster is equipped with three-level ABS which can be adjusted on the move with a closed throttle. ABS can also be completely turned off. It also benefits from a plethora of rider aids. The 821 motor is more than enough, it's manageable, easy to ride, yet has a turn of speed and handling that makes it fun too. It's forgiving and easy to ride around town, has a light clutch, adjustable brake lever, nice clear clock display and would be suitable as a first big bike and also a great bike for the more experienced rider
